She can be the character she was when first introduced, the Emperor’s Hand or whatever it was called. Let’s take the Star Trek reboots then, of Kirk, Spock etc. Or any other reboot in history? If having a kid with Luke was all that defined Mara Jade, she wouldn’t deserve to be rebooted.
In the future I’m sure they will reboot the OT, and many things will change there as well.
I disagree. It’s exactly the same as Thrawn and any other character. She’s the most popular extended universe character.
