I listened to Yield on headphones the other night and even songs I didn't think were the strongest kind of kicked my ass. The production is wonderful.

I think it might have overtaken Vs as my second fav. album (behind No Code, obviously.)

I’m confident that if I listened to any of the first 7 albums in a quiet room with headphones, I would hear something I’ve never picked up on before.
Vs, No Code and Yield always get me.

"Who You Are" is PJ's "1979" to me. It's a single that I will never grow tired of. I could listen to it every day and it would still hit. There are very few singles I can say that about.

(Soundgarden's "Burden in my Hand" and Faith No More's "Stripsearch" spring to mind.)

An old bootleg run through a brickwall limiter and then pressed straight to vinyl at a premium price and called a "vault release" is a good start?

I have the same question! lol.
I only have one vault release (Atlanta '94), but curious to know if we're talking about a specific vault release or all of them?

Atlanta 94 of course. The same version you could download for free since 1995 but remastered by Metallica.

Apparently it takes years of planning and effort to unlock the vault door and transfer a few tapes and mix them.

In all fairness, maybe Eddie lost the key.
