He may have turned a corner when it comes to the playoffs. In 2013 I was absolutely celebrating the unexpected greatness. But around here, you still hear people defending that roster as a way to win. It was a fluke, a flash in the pan. In all honesty, I actually watched the highlights of that playoff run the other day, and it warmed my heart. That was the 2nd best season of my Red Sox lifetime.

Enough about the Red Sox though, they are a last place team that doesnt even have any pieces to sell at the deadline.
