A Jamie that had been captivity for several months without proper nourishment, conditioning, and training.

I think Jon has the intangibles to win such a matchup.

This isn't football. Who has Jon bested in single combat?

With a super effective blade that blocks their weapons and shatters them. White Walkers don't need to be strained in swordplay cuz they have magic and weapons that freeze and shatter normal blades

Qhorin Halfhand! Oh, wait, nevermind...

Karl from Gin Alley! Oh, wait, nevermind...

A Thenn! (if using hammers is O.K. in single combat)

I guess some wildlings at the Battle of Castle Black? Some Bolton foot soldiers?

Except Jon vs Jorah would be a fair duel.

I would enjoy this fight. Jon is basically a living legend in Westeros and the best living swordsman. Jorah is a old, crafty fighter. It would be a interesting match up.
I was half-expecting Sam to give Jorah Heart's Bane--I know Sam is probably saving it for someone to use at the Wall, but it's not like he's going to.

Maybe the Hound will wield it? That would be awesome.

Hey, guys, I have a theory (this is sort of out-there, so bear with me): since Dany's fleet is mostly destroyed at this point, do you think they could build giant platforms for the dragons to carry in order to ferry their men over to Westeros? Just a thought, please don't @ me!

Hammers are fair game; Oberyn used a spear

I wonder if Jon and Jorah meet up if Jon will offer him Longclaw.

I totally see that taking place and Jorah will probably turn it down.

Which maybe will cause Sam to offer Jorah Heartsbane. That would be a cool circle of events.

Or Jorah accepts and Jon is killed by a White Walker when his new, inferior blade just shatters.
