Clips want a ton for Blake based on that Denver offer that was rejected. He's up in 2017...

Pat Riley came out again a few days ago and said that he's getting old and wants to win now.

Miami has no assets for a trade on this roster besides Winslow really, so a lot of Heat fans are worried that they might further mortgage the future so that we're a 5 seed instead of a 7 this year. Obviously I really hope they don't go this route.

What moves would you do if you were Miami? I haven't really paid much attention to them this year other than few random games.

Miami desperately needs shooting. Basically the lack of shooting is suffocating the offense as a whole. Its funny that the two best teams in the league instantly knew what to do against Miami: the Warriors didn't cover Winslow. They gave him whatever shot he wanted so Miami was basically playing 4 on 5. Then last week Pop took it a step further and the Spurs didn't guard the 3 point line. They had 5 guys with a foot in the paint, leaving no room for Wade/Dragic drives, no pick and rolls, no nothing. Miami has absolutely no ability to space the floor.

A shooter would help tremendously. But at the end of the day it turns to the bigger issue of "even with some moves at the deadline can this time as currently constituted compete for a championship?" and the answer to that is a resounding no. Knowing Riley that means something dramatic is coming because generally speaking he wants to contend for a championship or bust.

Oh, and Whiteside won't be here next year so I guess you may as well try to get something, though with his impeding free agency and lack of Bird rights he has virtually no trade value.

I'm not saying I would necessarily do it, but the murmurs are out there for for the following reasons.

-The pairing of Jordan and Blake has always been kind of awkward
-He punched a staff member
-His value is really high and the current roster is likely not winning a championship
-The team tends to do just as well when Paul or Griffin are out
-Doc Jordan is a bad GM
-He punched a staff member

That was a lot for Denver to give up for what could ultimately end up a year rental.

Yeah I heard this rumor too. I'd take him since I guess the deal would revolve around Tony Snell but I also have a hard time seeing the bulls taking on an idiot like Morris. They are famous for wanting 'their kind of guy' ( white, yes man, from Iowa, from new Mexico, coach's son, ect.).
