I’ll reiterate that it mostly sounded to me like Severed Hand/Inside Job. That’s not to suggest it’s as good as those song (and SH > IJ), but generally in that vaguely psychedelic, melodic hard-rock wheelhouse

The metal door is definitely Stone. Bringing mystery and mystique back. Like being stuck outside the venue without a ticket straining to get an auditory glimpse. There’s a romanticism in that almost - except it’s lame making that be the only exposure through the weekend if not longer.

The only way the vocals on this album could be worse than Avocado is if Mike recorded them.

Maybe you're right... Or, maybe this will be that one album that a lot of great bands have late in their careers that turns out to be amazing. I was skeptical when I first heard about the metal door bootleg after what happened with the Infallible sound check. But you really can make out quite a bit from the clips, and I have to admit, I'm leaning toward feeling like this is going to be something special. Something a lot of us have been hoping for, for quite some time.

Spoke to my sound engineer brother and he says there's really no way to extract good sound from a clip like this, with the caveat that he's not aware of every piece of tech out there. Mostly at this point, I just want to know more about that last track that is more muffled than the rest. It sounds like it could be a rocker but I really can't tell.
