Me too, that's one more half decent song.

After eds comment about OTE being a one off, I'd doubt it'll ever make a record.
And if it did we'd all be up in arms saying they've run out of ideas officially.

Oh, wait..

Just add it to KurtLeon's list of songs to unearth.

I'm trying to take a more "scientific" approach to the whole "when the hell are we gonna get some more news about LB?" question that's burning a hole through everyone's psyche.

I've listed all the promo stuff the band did for the last 2 albums and I'm trying to track down dates so that I can figure out a reasonable timeframe for when we should expect the "all-out album promo blitz" to begin (as opposed to randomly picking a date like 9/15? )

Avocado:
AOL Sessions
Radio One Interview with Zane Lowe
Live on Jools Holland
Live on Letterman (plus mini-show)
WWS single

Backspacer:
The Fixer single
EPK
Got Some on Letterman/or SNL (???)
Anything else?

If anyone has more promo things I'm missing and/or knows actual dates for when these things happened that might save me some time and energy.

Avocado had an EPK too.

A huge one for Backspacer was the verizon snippets, too. All about 11 seconds but arousing a lot of discussion and speculation.

Do you have dates for when all this promo started happening?

Compared to the Backspacer buildup even, my indifference towards this is staggering. And with Backspacer I had this feeling in the pit of my stomach that I was trying too hard to be excited.

It'll probably all kick in a month away; at least you'll be intrigued when things begin to pop up on the Internet for you to read. The problem is that 3 months was fucking stupid.

Imagine the anger if KurtLeon hadn't gotten those songs out there.

The Backspacer build up was really engrossing for the most part. People wanted to hear what would be next after Avocado, and everyone was creaming about the idea of them returning to BO'B.

On top of that, we had the job of being detectives in the down time and trying to trace the origins or meanings of the cover cartoons.
