haha I actually really liked that, the fuzzy guitar in the back makes it feel (to me) closer to Binaural than Lightning Bolt (inb4 someone says "YeS bUt ThE LB iS sTiLl ThErE, dUm DuM" - I know)

ultimately that electric fuzz is the thread that'll anchor the song next to the others

Prediction: This will be my favorite of the three so far (if it's released as a single). I think it's cute

Kind of difficult to listen to Something Special without the sports crowd cheering in the background

well yeah, I agree in terms of the production; I like the playing though, it would be too heavy-handed with just acoustics but given the fuzz I'm OK with the double-snare

Where's this new snippet?

I do find myself hoping for more electric guitars in a bridge or something
