There's a guy I lock horns with pretty often on a music theory Facebook group. Nice guy, and I'm sure we'd get along personally, but we seem to constantly disagree on everything. Things never get hostile, and at this point we just laugh upon realizing that our opinions are once again at odds with each other. Anyway, he just posted some of his own music and holy goddamn is it completely horrible. Like total amateur shit. I feel vindicated by this, like I just automatically won every argument we ever had. I realize this is completely fallacious, and that this guy would probably think the same of my own music. But my brain registers this as a victory of sorts.
