Trump's working hard for that female vote.

And he's gonna do it, too. He's fucking DYING to. He's like Jack Nicholson at the end of A Few Good Men. He's just gonna explode with shit about Bill. I'm quite surprised he didn't go ahead and say something at the first one. I'm wondering what the purpose of it is. It wasn't Hillary that cheated. She was the one being cheated ON. Unlike Donald, who as mentioned before, has had quite public trysts while being married.

Hillary should surprise him with Marla Maples sitting in the front row of the next one.

Apparently she is a horrible person and too dumb to be president for staying with her husband. the only response necessary would be "Yea, donald, we worked through our issues and stayed committed to our marriage and God, as opposed to you and all your compadres etc..etc.."

Even if its a bold face lie.

If she really wanted to rile him up, she should get Ivana AND Marla Maples sitting in the front row.

I've said some variation of "is this real?" more times in the last week alone than every other past election cycle combined.

Really amazes me how he continually doubles down on all of his controversies.

He doesn't consider them controversies. If one assumes the media is biased, then anything they report can be dismissed as such.

Here's a recollection from the old board: while I always appreciated LittleWing's posts more than most here, the one subject that I would lose patience with him on was when he slutshamed. Suffice to say, this Trump tweet pisses me off.

Has a political trap ever worked as well as this before? Never mind that it was only the most obvious trap ever laid...

On second thought, while Trump is certainly playing into Clinton's hands probably beyond their wildest hopes, I guess it remains to be seen whether this actually "works" in a real sense.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the final electoral vote map looks exactly as it did in either 2008 or 2012.

What's the vibe in Idaho? I drove through on my way to Seattle last week, and was surprised to not see much Trump propaganda between Coeur d'Alene and Spokane.
No vibe at all. There's just not enough Democrats statewide, and even here in Boise whatever buzz existed was mostly around Bernie Sanders. I don't think I've seen even one sign or sticker for either Trump or Clinton.

Again, just not enough Democrats in either state to make them competitive. The 90s and early 00s have done quite the job in sorting most states out to be either solidly left or right, and the lack of migration since the recession has stuck it that way. Here in the West it was a lot of conservative Californians fleeing the state (think Mark Fuhrman for a famous example).

LW was Trump confirmed.

I think that yes, of course, Trump is putting his foot right into his mouth when he lets the story about how he shamed a woman about her weight continue for a solid week (which isn't to say that he's not trying to "shame" her now, present tense). But then again, two things: (1) as many people have pointed out, none of these "controversies" have caused or probably will cause any Trump supporters to leave him (when the polls move, it's generally either Clinton losing support or Trump slightly gaining; he's barely ever gone down in any state or national poll); what matters is whether or not any of Trump's foolishness will get Obama '08 and '12 supporters to the polls; and (2) I have no doubt that the Clinton campaign has started to craft responses to Trump's inevitable mention of Bill's infidelities in a debate (I'd be surprised if it comes up during #2; it would seem out-of-place in the town hall format; #3 is more likely), but I imagine it won't reference Trump's own personal failings as much as try to paint it as just another one of Trump's attacks on "weak" women; that is, she won't try to make it atypical, but rather typical of his character to try and disparage a woman in the face of masculinity. Make sense?

Can you send PMs on the old RM? Maybe do that and hope he receives an e-mail about it?

Looks like you can, I successfully sent a test PM to myself.
