Yeah, that was a lot of fun. I'll be OK with a lacklustre run-up to the album if the actual album ends up being pretty good. The opposite was worse.

Live on Letterman (plus mini-show)
I'm almost positive these both happened after the album was released, right?

that timer on the PJ website is a terrible idea with such a long time to go.

Either they've got an interesting reason for withholding the tracklist, or they're just being dicks.

They should just get Jeff, Stone and Matt to track it.

What does the album sound like?

"You tell me. "

That definitely puts a different spin on that answer.

Its a different thing for the band, with yield and riot act most people didnt know they were releasing a new album; now they dont know they are releasing a new album

See? a different and fresh approach.

I will take any new PJ, duh, but I sooo want this to be anything but Backspacer 2. Backspacer is all fine and good on its own, but I just hope to christ it's not a template for future (days) records.

I need this album *to have a Tremor Christ, a Red Mosquito, an Of The Girl, or hell even a Help, Help ;)

*edit

It might still let you down if you wanted nothing from it.

"I want" it to be good. If it's not, oh well. I'll survive. But man, it'd really be fucking cool for a new Pearl Jam record I could enjoy fairly regularly for at least six months.
