Lightsabers on ships!!

Why didn’t anyone think of that before!?
does this confirm luthen is a jedi?

They won’t go there. Surely not
search your feelings
I'm pretty sure you can be force sensitive without being a Jedi. I'd argue that Han Solo, Poe Dameron, and R2D2 are all tapped into the Force.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Please make your R2D2 argument.

- Every blaster shot misses him when he's repairing the Queen's ship.
- He was the copilot on the ship the destroyed the Trade Federation ship, infiltrated General Grievous's ship, destroyed the Death Star, escaped the Imperial blockade of Hoth, escaped the destruction of the second Death Star, and took out all of the gun turrets on that ship in TLJ.
- He flew through that droid factory in AOTC during a battle without a scratch.
- He gets into every single room and controls every computer he wants to.
- He slid around in that crashing ship at the beginning of ROTS without a scratch.
- He hibernated when Luke cut himself off from the Force.
- He got that monster on Dagobah to spit him out.
- Stuff from the Clone Wars that I've forgotten.

This begs a deeper question about what "life" means/is. If the Force comes from life and all living things, and R2 is Force sensitive, that would mean that droids are alive.

The force comes from midiclorians. Checkmate.

TBH, I am pissed that the force came up in a thread about Andor.

This show says R2 is force sensitive? Ugh. I may not watch it then.

To my knowledge, R2 is not in this show. But I haven't watched the most recent episode yet. So who knows.

This show and Obiwan have specifically addressed people's treatment of droids.

Also, R2 is not in Andor, and why can't midochlorians be in oil? No one said they couldn't.

Treatment of droids has been a major theme in all of SW going back to the original.

Is oil organic? Is oil alive?

Oil is organic. Why can't living things live in a nonliving thing? Why am I bound by logic in a world with midochlorians?
