He said that as long as it’s a farther relation than 1st cousin, there shouldn’t be any medical or genetic issues. He never said he advocates it. He was just answering a medical question about it. And this was years ago.

He also said “and that’s why my daughters hate my smell.” So you know, just normal doctor stuff.

There's good reason to believe he's correct here.

(Smell plays into attraction, those genetically distinct to you might have a more pleasing smell)

Who knows because nothing replicates, but it's not an insane theory.
