what i enjoy about this album (and Riot Act) is that you can poll 10 fans to rank their favorite songs on the album (as seen in the last few pages), and their song lists are wildly different

I'm happy to see the positive reactions to this album. I haven't been on RM in a while but I kind of got the impression that it wasn't very well liked. Glad to see that's not the case.

I love this album. It has aged so well for me.

This and Riot Act grew the most for me. Riot Act probably a little more ... i really disliked the majority of that album on the first listen. i wasn't the right age for it. but as i've gotten older, it clicks much more with me. S/T was so-so when I first heard it. there were a few tracks that stood out, but now i have a genuine appreciation of this album that just took time to grow. Riot Act and S/T are the better aged records, i think.

at first i thought it was just Backspacer and LB making S/T sound better in hindsight, but it's not. i do like this record a lot (minus Gone, sorry durds)

As long as you like Riot Act. That's all I care about. The rest is forgivable.
