He posted it on fbook. He is doing the song with some other guy and claims he never heard the original song

Yeah when someone called him out on never hearing it he said something like “nope. I heard the best era of that band. Everything else was from a band i didn’t like”. Then went on to claim When he joined PJ he never listened to Ten until he had to play the songs.

Pretty sure you Dave A. lovers aren’t getting him back in the band.

He's always sounded a little nuts and stupid to me. Great drummer, but yeah.

The last straw was his ordering "eggs any style" with Stone at breakfast.

I think Jill's face tells everything we need the know about the current status of the drummer...

I would be surprised if they did not already have some one and weren't jamming or writing now. With the new drummer and rest of the band jamming while Ed is in Japan. Album recorded by end of June. Released in Sept or Oct. Tour starts at the same time. Whoever they land on not an official band member until they've been around a while or are contributing a lot of written music.

these guys are in their 60s now

should we really expect anything to happen quickly

it can't be healthy to be up all those late nights

they have prostates to take care of

maybe they will make the rational choice and let it be

Dave A's a great drummer, at least he was with PJ and I love his tenure with the band. As much as I would've preferred him handling his firing differently in public, I understand why it's been hard for him to move on (or seems that way).

Greatest Rock band. Long career. And he was only a part of it for two albums and some tours. But what albums..!

His bracket for March Madness is a series of great and good songs facing off.

For fans unfamiliar with the term, McCready offered his take on Pearl Jam’s next steps in an interview with SPIN. “‘Woodshedding’ is us thinking about it and talking about what it could be,” he said. “I think that’s what Ed was referring to. We’ve been emailing a lot, talking and calling each other. The way we work, as you know, is that we can be very slow and then all of a sudden we’re very fast. So, we’re kind of in our slow phase. It’s going to happen, but I just don’t know when. I would also love to go out and tour this year sometime, but we don’t have anything planned.”

He wants to tour? Does that mean they already have a drummer?

I doubt they've even been in the same room.

Yeah, that's what the quote is implying. And I also dont read anything about a new drummer in it.

Sure they have their thoughts and made some calls, but it seems that they are taking their time.

That, or Mike just isn't in on it.

well usually Mike is the overly-optimistic one
