So plenty = 2? Do you feel the band fucked up at a lower percentage in the past? I don't agree.
No, plenty doesn't mean 2.

Give me a few moments to find "plenty" and I will get back with you. Those two just popped in my head.

Yes, they are fucking up more than they have at any time since 2003 when they tried to literally play everything they could

Adding the Chloe Dancer prelude is one of my favorite things they've done the past few years. Pretty sure I gasped like a girl when I heard it at Toronto 2 '11.

I like corduroy fast, call me crazy, but the verison from voodoo is played at light sonic speed and is sounds awesome.

LA I and II, Oakland and Portland are now up. Let's see how these sound - I'm going to buy Portland since I was there, but I'm dreading it a bit...

I'm actually quite looking forward to hearing Adelaide as I didn't enjoy the show at all in person (which isn't something I've ever previously felt about a Pearl Jam show).

Who knows, I may be pleasantly surprised.

What didn't you like about it?

The Philly '09 shows were actually worse on boot than they were in person, and they were pretty bad in person. It was pretty frustrating to witness something that awful, and then read a constant barrage of GET THE PHILLY BOOTS NOW! posts on the pit.

Just listened to OKC today and all I remember in In Hiding was a slight miscue in the guitar interplay between Mike and Stone during "nothing's sound..." Do you mean MFC? Because Matt's cymbal tapping on that one nearly ended it before it began. He did the same thing going into the "teenage wasteland" part of Baba O'Riley. In both instances the rest of the band were on the same page and doing just fine and then it sounds like someone randomly pressed the count-in button on Garage Band, paying no attention to where the beat landed.

Just bought the Portland show, cause I was there. This is the first bootleg I've bought from pearljam.com and I'm having trouble extracting the flac files, which is weird cause I've never had problems with flac, and I'm pretty computer savvy. I'm using winrar, it says unexpected end of archive, and the archive is either unknown format or damaged. Any help?

The zip file probably didn't download completely. Try again and if it still fails, then someone at pj has screwed up which wouldn't be surprising given how little attention they pay to these files and their tags, naming etc.

It was a combination of things, really.

It was an outdoor festival on a blistering hot day (104 ℉ or thereabouts), Arcade Fire (who were on immediately before Pearl Jam) played forever and were awful and I thought the crowd were insufferable.

All of that aside, I was still looking forward to seeing the band play but I was ready to go home after three or four songs. It just wasn't a good night.

I'd still go see them again but I think I'd pass on another big outdoor festival-type show.

I felt that way about dave matthews once.

Haven't seen them since. Haven't bought an album since. Shit, haven't even listened at all in years. Your are in the first step of a separation, my friend

So I finally got the Portland show downloaded, I think there was a problem with the original download. Anyway, the first thing I did was go to Corduroy, because I feel this is a song the band, Ed mostly, have a fair amount of trouble on. I think many would agree, Corduroy live doesn't sound as good as it used to.

Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a kick ass Corduroy performance. First of all, Matt's drums, holy shit, they are sweet. The drums sound like they're tuned really well, and recorded just as well. Also, Matt is just doing a lot of cool stuff, reminds me of 1998 Matt Cameron, almost. Ed sounds pretty good, he seems to get most the lyrics right. Ed doesn't do too much stupid vocal stuff like he does nowadays, he's warbling a decent amount, but the warble doesn't bother me much, and he's been warbling on this song since 2000. Mike, Jeff, and Stone all sound good too, but that's not too surprising. The end jam is cool.

I'm looking forward to the rest of this bootleg.
