I love Imperial Stouts... I'll have to try to find that one, locally.

I thought it was fantastic. I was expecting to get hit over the head with alcohol. But it was smooth and on the line with some of the better Imperial stouts I've had. Like someone said, this can only get better with age. If you can find them, I recommend buying 2 bottles -- drink 1 now and age 1.

They did an excellent job with the R&R... Coconut was VERY subtle.

Bridgeport Smooth Rye'd - a basic, but cheap (6.50 a 6 pack) and decent Rye IPA made with Centennial Hops.
I found it very smooth and fast drinking, similar to Terrapin Rye PA
I'm a fan of Bridgeport for most of thier hoppy offerings.

I know it isn't technically beer, but Stevens Point brewery makes some pretty incredible root beer. Just had one this weekend. I included it here because it is from a brewery.

The original brewery in Saratoga Springs (there are two now) also has their own root beer and it is also quite good; definitely worth including here.

Picked up my first fall beers of the season. Pumpking and Harvest Ale from Southern Tier and some Tumbler from S Nevada. Love me some fall beer!

Way too early for fall beer, imo. I can't believe I've been seeing them in stores for the past three weeks or so.

I agree. My friend already has a keg of Pumking in his tap at home.

Fall beers can't come soon enough! I am so stoked to see them. Just picked up my first case of Sam Adams Octoberfest at the store yesterday, meaning we are close to football season and Halloween! Fall beers are by far my favorite of the seasonals.
1. Fall
2. Winter
3. Summer
4. Spring

Not sure how many here frequent the BA website/message board but
this was a good, albeit short thread for those that enjoy hops and the pursuance of furthering their knowledge of hop characteristics and this is the
document that came out of it.

My local place got a ton of the IRS, EIRS and RuinTen... I am eagerly anticipating the WootStout.
Edited for accuracy.
