I have no problem with what MLB is doing here, it's just kind of annoying that the Yankees get a get out of jail free card on that awful contract. Like you said though, so be it.

and A Rod will fight for every last dime, just another reason he is the most unlikable baseball player of all time.
It's impossible to be a fan of this guy.

Trot Nixon once plunked the pitcher with his bat, it was someone on Tampa Bay.

I can see not throwing the bat... as well, it is rather vicious...
but Ive never understood, taking your helmet off, nor, ive never understood not at least taking a cheap shot at the catcher first, so he cant jump you LOL hell if anything, when you get rid of the bat drop it at the catchers feet... he'll trip over it and then ya got a free run at the pitcher, as long as the other teams 3rd of 1st baseman isnt a nutjob?t
true story, I maybe a tad off on the facts... but Macho Man Randy Savage (yes the rassler) when going by his real name Randy Poffo, got his "Macho Man" nickname in a brawl in a minor league baseball game...
If Im remembering the story correct... he was ON DECK when a pitcher warming up nearly hit him... and so he went out and let the pitcher know he didnt like that too much... then, the next day, that same pitcher was running on the outfield track... and well, crossed onto their side of the field... so Randy let him know what he thought of that as well... and from that point on, was called Macho Man.

Why? Might as well get calls right.

This is only okay if it takes 30 seconds or less and comes from the booth. It won't, and it opens the door for a replay to happen about 30 times a game. Whats next? Instant replay on balls and strikes?

Just think, they can now capture more crotch grabs and spitting - or hot chicks...
How much time is wasted by managers arguing a call? If they're going to waste time anyways, might as well get it right.

it will feel like 30. And it will only expand now that they have opened this can of worms. Look at the NFL...its just one giant officials review. Fox even employs a former official to cut to for analysis during these annoying breaks in action.
