This is more along the lines of common sense. This was already a Mythbusters episode anyway. That rifle may not have been able to puncture the tank. The rest seemed accurate.

i thought they were gonna tell us that the blond kid was the new Penguin. Totally didn't remember him from a previous season.

No "poor me" emoting, no cop-out bad guys, no Darryl throwing a grenade down the barrel of a tank, no stalling the plot to save costs on zombies and action sequences. Many times better than the siege on the prison episode and quite possibly the best episode since season one.

You realize that now we're going to get a long string of slow, uneventful episodes because they clearly blew a big chunk of the budget on the premiere, right?

But all of us [couldn't handle this], because that practical gag they did looked exactly like you see [on TV]. All of us were just freaking out. Then they went, "And cut," and everybody went, "That's never going to be on screen."

Watched this with my special lady friend last night. She couldn't handle that opening trough scene and I had to tell her when it was over - and then she got all teary during the reunion scenes. She later said and I fully agree that it was one of - if not the best episode this show has done

i can't disagree that this was one of the best shows in the series' history. all meat, no filler. it's a shame i had to convince my usual 'dinner and tv' crowd to watch twd- they're all aboard the american horror story bandwagon. but the ones who watched weren't disappointed they did.

i'm not buying anything the dude said, but i am wondering if he's been horribly bitten already and somehow didn't die and turn. it could explain his fears, and would suggest that he is the cure like he says he is. everyone is supposedly infected, perhaps eugene isn't.

a lot of walking dead conversations involve people trying to convince themselves, and others, that the episode that just aired was actually good
