I'm not a fan their English-sung songs (other than Hypocrite), but the ones sung in Maori are badass.

My band recorded some tunes earlier this year and we’ve got an album coming out in a few weeks. I suck at genres but we fall somewhere in the sludge/doom camp with maybe some groove elements as well. It’s kind of a mixed bag honestly. There’s another thread on the band in the Release sub-forum.

I love the changes at 2:33 and 3:42. Fucking fantastic. What guitar did you record this with? Rhythm or lead?

Thanks man. I recorded this one with a Gibson SG standard. The other guitar player is using a Kiesel Aries 6. I do both rhythm and leads in this one - me and the other guitar player trade off leads during the solo section.

Yes and no on the artwork, the image is of Jupiter taken by a NASA probe, so i really just applied some specific color grading and effects to it. There is some other artwork that will be on the booklet and CD that I created that you can see pieces of on the bandcamp page.

Listening to this again, and I definitely meant 3:42. Shit is gnarly.

New Behemoth album in October!

Good song though. I love the children’s choir. And those slithering Behemoth drum fills, as usual, do something special to my eardrums.

Damn, new High on Fire coming out the same day as the new Behemoth.

High tension supporting the Bronx in October. I think so.

I've never seen The Bronx, but I saw The Bronx as Mariachi El Bronx opening for Clutch on new years eve 2016.

Two Matt Pike records in one year though, what did we do to deserve that?

I love Behemoth but that new song kind of sucks.
