Edit: Fuck it. It's not even worth it. I'm gonna go out and celebrate the death of racism in America as first reported on a Pearl Jam message board and proven by Axl Rose or whatever the fuck it was.

There's Paint It, Black and...well, uh
I love Sympathy, Start Me Up, Emotional Rescue, Miss You, Faraway Eyes, Angie, Waiting on a Friend and others.

I think the Stones make a killer mixtape but I'm not huge on the albums individually. Some Girls is probably my fave.

Not bad. Really busy time of year for me and I've just gotten back from a crazy stupid busy trip away so it's great just to be back with the family.

You cool?

I enjoyed those comments, Lament.

Some Girls is a very enjoyable album, V. Had frogs legs for dinner lately?

Yeah, I good. Glad to hear you're back with the family where you belong. Where did they have you traveling?

Thanks, LMS.

(And I agree, Some Girls is a fun listen. Probably just outside of my Stones' top five)

Yep. Cause that was absolutely the point. It wasn't that people who say shit like this...

generally have records made by people with far worse transgressions than being arrogant in their collections.

Come up with a better argument against him as an artist than "I think he's a dick" and I'll be glad to.

We're not talking about covered up crimes and allegations here. He hasn't raped or murdered anyone. great. But his (comparatively mild) asshole actions are right there in the open on national television almost constanly. Everyone knows who he is. It's not the worst thing imaginable when someone says "fuck that guy" because he was a dick to a girl on TV. Most people don't give assholes a fair shot. Going to the double standard BS every time they do is a bit much.

But I love that he never apologizes for shit. That's my favorite thing about him. A true hedonist after my own heart.

On a similar note, I always hated Eddie when he went on long winded political rants at shows or wrote hamfisted songs like Soon Forget. I remember it being an uphill battle trying to get friends into him when he was generally being a sanctimonious blowhard all the time. Shocking that people would think a rockstar could be an ass, but who could blame them? It gets old.

Now I realize that dickishness was the source of all his power. The new, more restrained and bridgebuilding Ed just sucks. I'd love to hear the old, irrational asshole Ed scream about hating republicans again if it meant we got more powerful songs in between the rants.

I mean, its generally a shitty way to be in real life, but it often makes for the best art. You gotta make exceptions for genius, unless its Kanye. Because fuck that guy.
