Yeah he would only make a scene or whatever if Chuck was aware of its presence.

I'm saying Jimmy had electricity around Chuck a lot without Chuck knowing.

Jimmy used to ground himself every time before he went into Chuck's house.

I feel like you haven't been watching the show, Bammer. Jimmy loves his brother, defended him all the time, and went out of his way to appease his brother and do what was best for Chuck.

Bammer, you've clearly misunderstood the relationship between these characters.

So the hearing was the first time Jimmy ever tested the theory that Chuck's condition was purely mental?

That Chuck knew about. He and Chuck's doctor talked about it numerous times.

I wonder what kind of breakdown Chuck will have now that he knows is affliction is purely in his head.

He wasn't testing anything. He already knew it was entirely mental and out of respect for his brother never exposed him or let him become humiliated. He patronized and appeased him out of the love and respect he had for his brother.

Only when Chuck damaged something important to Kim did Jimmy even attempt to undermine him.

Yes bammer, Jimmy could have kept secret battery powered items in his clothing and chuck would have never known. But Jimmy, the character that he is, respected his brothers wishes, even if he felt they were silly... so he didn't do that.
