I'm not sure if the guy was serious but he definitely could not understand that the saga films are seperate than the standalones. 'Why are they going back in time then jumping forward in time?'

Oh man! Could you imagine how pissed people will be if that's literally the entire movie?! Pleasepleasepleasepleaepleasetragabigzanda wrote:I think this movie could be really, really awesome. But every attempt to shoehorn in an OT reference is just going to piss me off.
Also, I'd love to see how Han learned to understand Chewbacca. Maybe they could do a Julie Of the Wolves type plot line, in which an orphaned Han is raised by Wookies.

Probably more along the lines of Han taking in an orphaned chewie and learning. Weren't wookies all slaves during the clone wars?tragabigzanda wrote:I think this movie could be really, really awesome. But every attempt to shoehorn in an OT reference is just going to piss me off.

On my list of things I want explored or explained in the Star Wars universe, how Han can understand Chewie might be dead fucking last.

They're actually holding open casting for musicians of all sorts. But it's in London. Wish I could go.

Shit.
I just remembered I think it's a bad idea for established actors to appear in Star Wars
Plus does this sound a bit like roles Woody has already played?

Han as Catniss.

It's not like Cheers actors are exclusive to Star Trek. There has been precedent set for them appearing in a Star Wars film.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!
