We watched Shawshank Redemption last night, so I really get where you're coming from.
I can't stop laughing at this. Trag, I know what you're getting at here but fuck if this isn't one of the most unintentionally funny posts I've ever read.
It was intentionally funny. Mission accomplished!
Spoiler: show
But we did actually watch Shawshank last night, 'coz Mrs. Trag had never seen it.
Oh!

Sorry. Outstanding post, then, sir.
I'm slowly coming to a place on RM where I can let the earnestness go for wee stretches at a time.
I love it, man.

But, if it's all the same to you, when I retell the story of this post, I'll tell them about how earnest you are and I'll tell them that your post was dead serious. If that's okay with you.

It's funny either way. You know what... I'll tell it like it happened. Because I love you.

Yea, but my " :heartbeat: :shake: :heartbeat: :shake: :heartbeat: :shake: " was meant to communicate that I was feeling the pull to the Light Side.
Can we start over?

I've heard about the subject of this week's episode of Start Up before (Canadian Trader Joe's Black Market), but I forget where. Maybe Planet Money?

It's pretty funny, but this season just feels like some episodes of TAL compared to the immersive experience of the earlier seasons. It's very different.

I'm not a Maximum Fund donor, so unfortunately I haven't heard the bonus episodes :-(

Some of my favorite podcasts are the Bill Simmons episodes when he has Chuck Klosterman or Malcolm Gladwell as a guest.

I'm actually okay with this format as long as we get a few mini-stories across multiple episodes sprinkled amongst these one-offs. So far, nothing Start Up has reported on has been nearly as interesting as its own evolution, so I'm okay if we don't get an immersive experience a la Dating Ring again any time soon.
