Got tickets to Jim James solo acoustic at the Capitol Theater in Portchester NY in mid- November. This ought to be interesting.

Im going to a similar festival here. Built to Spill, At the drive In, Death Cab, Lorde, Warpaint & Deerhunter interest me to some degree, I hope I get to see most of them.
Im pretty excited for Built to Spill because they are one of my favorite bands and I didn't really expect them to come here. They're probably not a band that works great in a festival setting though.

Spoon is awesome live, but the last time I saw them was probably 10 years ago. I'd be curious to see how they are now. man, that 3 album run of Kill The Moonlight > Gimme Fiction > Ga Ga Ga is so unbelievable. that might be one of the best 3 album runs out there.

They Want My Soul might be my favorite Spoon album. Transference is probably the one I've spent the least amount of time with.
