There’s a lot I’d like to say here, most of which comes down to appreciation for what you do. But I think it’s worth pointing out that a lot of funds and presidential rallies that might otherwise have gone to more traditionally competitive races have gone to places like Montana this year. Trump, averse to any risk of looking ineffective, has barely campaigned in actual battlegrounds at all. Montana is going to be EXPENSIVE for the GOP this year, and it’s a bill they badly needed not to have to pay.tragabigzanda wrote:We have poured a ton of energy in our races here in MT, and with six days left we are both really fucking stressed. Polls are all over the place, Trump is coming here for like his fourth visit, LTEs that are shocking in their idiocy. We are hopeful for Dem wins here in MT, but are already feeling the stress and anxiety of a potential loss.

The correct response is rarely the popular one.tragabigzanda wrote:guy in my acting class last night said "...and what if I think that voting is pointless and so I just don't do it." Predictably, everyone else was silent while I said "If you are being serious, then I am furious with you and don't even want to fucking talk about it." He said "Good night" and left.
Such is my plight.
Have fun! I have tickets for just over a week later.Chris_H_2 wrote:i hope he plays victory danceStrat wrote:Im seeing Jim James on election night.
I may be displaying an apathetic viewpoint these days but rest assured my ballot has been mailed. Thanks for all you’re doing, you probably don’t hear it enough but it’s appreciated.tragabigzanda wrote:guy in my acting class last night said "...and what if I think that voting is pointless and so I just don't do it." It is disturbing when Ted Cruz makes a joke.bune wrote:In a year of "how fucking strange is this life" I think that may have taken the cake.
