Lenny, you're better than this. Don't let Alex drag you down.
i loved the first two seasons but haven't seen any since
Give me a quick rundown of the plot.
i don't want to spoil anything for you but it's really good ask spike
It's fine, spoil away. You can even throw in some Lost spoilers too, if you want.
a group of british aristocrats and their loyal staff are in a carriage accident and land on a secluded (OR SO IT SEEMS) beach...while some hold out hope for a rescue team, others begin to prepare for a long stay - rationing tea and biscuits, creating living spaces using their corsets and bonnets, etc...led by a dashing matthew crawley fox they are soon attacked and kidnapped by a band of lowborn working class folks who they call the PEASANTS ah i've said too much

what matters is not the development of themes, the leveraging of unique imagery, or the rich tapestry of character arcs. what matters is that they found each other.

Playing a blinder is sort of like blindingly obvious, Alex.
vernacular for a brilliant performance. So good it eclipses all else.

Upgrading this to great. Really cool concept. Can't talk about it without spoiling it.
But really worth watching
Loved that movie a lot although, I can see why it would piss people off. The last scene (before the credits) is one of the most powerful I had watched since a long time.

Not sure if the scene after the credits rolled added to it or not.
I'm still undecided.

I need some movies about manual labor, hard work, physical work. Especially for money/part of some imprisonment. Anyone think of anything?

Time lapse.
Avoid this. It's an interesting premise but the execution is mangled.

The cover of the dvd and the blurb for the release of british movie pride has been 'straightwashed' upon it's release in the US
No mention at all about its central characters being gay, just about 'an activist group' coming to the aid of miners striking in Thatchers Britain. It causing quite the stir.

Got a copy of Boyhood. Been looking forward to watching but didn't realize it was nearly 3 hours. Probably going to be a couple more days before I get a chance to watch.
