Rewatched Precious for the first time since theaters last night. Lee Daniels might be the best director of actors alive.

I've found myself enjoying new movies more since I cancelled my cable and stopped seeing previews. Going in blind is the way to go.

A lot of times I feel like I've seen the whole movie after I watch the trailer.

I've gone back and forth on them. I used to absolutely refuse to watch trailers for movies I was interested in and staunchly believed going in completely blind was best. And sometimes I still have that feeling. But at this point, I almost feel like they are a necessary evil of sorts. Now I just want to be able to get a taste of what the movie may be like. Something to get my anticipation (or lack thereof) pumping. Plus, as I've realized more and more how little I care about plot events, the spoiler-y elements aren't as big of a deal.

The one exception is supernatural horror movie trailers. I still won't watch them because I don't want the scares ruined beforehand.
