you know, i was wondering why the onion knight mentioned mormont to dany in the last episode, now that you reminded me of it... But i thought benjen told bran the wall was built with a lot of powerful magic to keep them out?

I'll have to queue that episode up, but he may have been referring to the White Walkers, not the wights. Wights can also apparently be raised through the wall, as anyone who dies in Castle Black is burned.

I feel like I need to watch all seasons again, i keep missing stuff :/

Then again, Benjen is more or less a wight, and he can't pass the Wall. So I don't know what to fucking believe.
