Booked in what we’ve been told is an elite Sunday roast for Father’s Day lunch tomorrow. Then will bum around the nearby Vic Market afterward.

I rarely go out for lunch but I have an empty kitchen between travel weekends, so just checked out a Greek cafe I've been wanting to try. Amazing falafel gyro.

The roast was really good except the Yorkshire was overcooked. Tragic.

cut some sweet potatoes in half. spread some extra virgin olive oil on the exposed side. then lightly seasoned with salt, pepper and cinnamon

40 minutes at 375 degrees. removed for 10 minutes and put them back in for another 10

the skins just fell right off of them.

then cooked some chuck roast and cut into bite sized pieces as well as stir fried some peppers and onions

lunch for the week
