Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I don't have a dog in this fight and yeah it's only been 3 days but the opening column pretty much speaks for the money making potential of this movie and the dominance of one Ryan Reynolds.

I appreciate the less is more attempt of a teaser trailer; I’ll probably avoid any others for this as I am looking forward to it albeit with some trepidation.

The Shaft trailer shows me that they knew exactly what kind of movie they needed to make, it's almost self-aware like a Deadpool movie.
