You're right, it's not his best picture. Not many of them are, tbf. Just three, which I have saved on my hard drive.
I second this. I fucking hate Supersonic (not to mention the rest of Backspacer), but I have always enjoyed Big Wave. I was a little taken aback by it first as they hadn't really done anything like it before, but then it really grew on me. Love the extended jam at the end of live versions ala the end of Immortality.Strat wrote:Heathen wrote:I feel like they already have with MYM. Actually I'd rather listen to Big Wave than any of the three LB songs we have heard so far.harmless wrote:Basically I just don't think they can possibly repeat the mistakes that were Big Wave and Supersonic a third time.
That is because Big Wave is fucking great.

I'm just hoping for a cut above this:E.H. Ruddock wrote:Nothing could be worse than the Fixer video. Or could it?

They've got to do something that cheesy for that part.Heathen wrote:I hope during the chorus the statue's mouth will be animated as if it were singingE.H. Ruddock wrote:Nothing could be worse than the Fixer video. Or could it?

I thought the official "Best Since..." line of demarcation (as pronounced by Rolling Stone) was Vitalogy. Somebody call David Fricke.KurtLeon wrote:Best since Yield.evenslow wrote:A Return To FormAlex wrote:so how do you guys think lightning bolt will turn out?
Alex!
The PJ Wiki will read: "Despite what every press release had said about every album before it, album #11 was the only true Return To Form according to the fans. Many fans remarked that the album's greatness made Pearl Jam's split shortly afterwards all the more difficult to take."KurtLeon wrote:#11?harmless wrote:By the end of their career, PJ might be known as the band whose every album was called a Return To Form.
