Does he usually do well in the league? Seems like a lot of ff experts I listen to advise exactly what he did/does!
conceptually, it makes sense; i only carry one kicker and defense and trade in and out all the time. the problem for him is that he's on the verge of getting stuck with no waiver money to play with (we have a waiver deadline, and you better have all the players you need heading into the playoffs, which means he'll need to stock up on a backup quarterback and TE too).
Right, but you can still bid $0 on a player and pick them up, right? Obviously as long as no one else bids higher than that and you're ahead in the waiver order.

Or is your system set up so that once you have no money, you are unable to pick anyone up?

Because my earlier comment included the strategy of going big/hard on Watson with remaining FAAB.

Yeah, the dumb commissioner of our league set it up where it doesn’t allow $0 bids. Pretty stupid.

If that's the case then this is a risky situation for your man.

If it's a typical league, then it's cool. I've got $0 left in my league. Just spent my last $8 on The Gus Bus!

It’s all about how much is scored against you.

Yes. And conversely if you score less than your opponent.

I got excited when Jamaal Williams got three scores, until my opponent had Tony Pollard. :(

I need Mahomes to be below average and Jimmy G to put up some good fantasy numbers. :|

My opponent and I are having abysmal weeks. He has a few guys going tomorrow night so it's really up in the air.

I think they were going to run a lot regardless. Unless your league has crazy points settings I’d be surprised if he broke 20.

I should have started your boy :gomez:

I'm well on my way to high score of the week. it helps when Kelce nets 30+ points. Sheesh.

This is all going to come crashing down really soon.

Dude in my league has Kelce, Pollard and Davante. I hate him.

I seriously have 68 points. Somehow I still may win. At least one other guy is in the 50’s.

It’s going to be close. I’m probably going to miss the playoffs regardless.
