yeah, i've noticed more team ball on offense and it's nice. team defense is another story.

The great defensive teams move so well together (I.e. Spurs), but the mediocre and bad ones are baaaad.

A full shot clock of ball movement and multiple pick and rolls can really break down a undisciplined team.

Every team still runs pnr with their best players and basically nothing else. The warriors have a team of all stars and shooters. It's not team ball, it's just talent. The only team in the league that plays 'team ball' is the maybe the Spurs.

Agree to disagree. They do a ton off off all ball cutting and screens away from the ball that set up their good looks. Mark Jackson era was a different story.

Mark Jackson was not holding steph and klay back to this extreme extent. He was a shitty coach but it's a players game and those guys hit peak maturity after he left mostly by coincidence. Shitty timing for him.. It's not like Jackson would still be playing David Lee if he was there.

It is coaching, execution, and great players. There have been a ton of teams with awesome players who didn't accomplish anything without the other two.

Steve Kerr could have chosen the Knicks and been fired by now. Lebron gets to the finals every year because he is by far the best player in the Eastern Conference. Coaching and execution are secondary to the great players part in the NBA. Especially when your great players are shooting at historic levels.

Pop should get his starters as much time against the best teams as possible, regardless of what he's done in the past. Does it really make any sense at all to go into a 7 game series against the warriors with zero reps from you full compliment of players against them?

So at least things are falling apart in Cleveland, and I can enjoy that. Apparently Kyrie is very unhappy, isn't agreeing with coach on things. Also, I'm sure they wish they traded Love. At this point it could be possible that LeBron ends up leaving after the season. (Not really, but isn't his contract up?)

Sure, but he can't leave there at least until he's well past his prime and into the keep getting dem checks/running up his career totals stage of his career.

Yeah the Lebron PR team won't allow another decision type fiasco. He needs to ride that coming home garbage for at least another year or two.

Well I guess Stephen A is saying Irving ideally would like to be somewhere other than Cleveland. I'm not sure that's news though. Literally every guy who has ever played for the cavs has probably thought...you know, I wish I didn't live in Cleveland.
