Yeah lmao I wish we lived somewhere where the party would just choose a candidate, unlike America where we ended up with Joe Biden because that's what we wanted the most.

Oh no I agree, I just couldn't resist given how much the DNC put their thumb on the proverbial scale this year (which was not the case, afaik, with Trump).

It’s just insane to me that Biden - a disgraced ancient oddball - is the best person for the job.

Of a nation of 320 million people, I'm being asked to choose between two to run the country. I consider it a minor miracle I've ever remotely liked any of the candidates in my lifetime. It just doesn't feel surprising to me that with those numbers, I'm choosing between the least worst option. And that's pretty straightforward this time.
