Because the blue side seems incapable allowing Trump even the slightest success less they be called Nazi-collaborators or fascists or whatever is in vogue this week, they've been backed into the corner of having to defend waste and fraud. This is huge for Elon and Trump because now they don't need to prove anything they can just argue 'why do you support defrauding the taxpayers?' and win public opinion. And center and left wing media will have to pretend that there is not rampant waste and fraud either or they are labeled enablers as well. It's just an insane strategy to engage in infighting and call each-other heretics when the opposition is running wild, a strategy that will cost the country dearly. It's time to lay down the tribalism and find a way to triage the impact.
