Floored me. Visceral. Actually flash of worry and anxiety. Man!
It's a perfectly fine trailer, I just love the other one more - the music and pacing of it in particular.

My dial has already blown past 11. I might just be at an excitement saturation point

Yeah, that could be it.

Like Pete, I'm a fairly mild Star Wars fan. I've been excited to see what JJ would do with it and I've really loved all the trailers so far. But this one in particular really hit a nerve and gave me something to get really amped about.

I've been tempered so far. But it'll be difficult to stay that way after this trailer.

I really like everything we've seen of the villain side so far. They actually feel threatening for once. I hope Phasma plays a bigger role as I really love Gwendoline Christie. Same for Kylo Ren and Adam Driver.

I think that was way better than the last trailer.

Yeah, both are wonderful actors. I'm super excited that they're a part of this thing.

It's a great shot. I think all the trailers I've seen have had multiple shots that have me the feels. Having said that, my excitement level is roughly the same today as it was yesterday, which is overall pretty damn high.

The clarification of Han mentioning that The Force was what was "all true" was a crucial bit of context. Made that moment register in a much more meaningful way.

Brings the force back towards the mystical and away from the scientific.

Interesting.

Is that not the context in the other trailer? I must have been connecting my own dots.

Granted, I only watched these once, but in the other trailer I didn't catch the word "force" so I took it to mean the actions of the rebel alliance and han/luke/et al had grown to the stuff of legend and han was confirming that all those bad ass things people say he did actually happened.

The other trailer never clarified what the "it" he was referring to was. If I'm not mistaken, it followed a line about there being "stories," which I assumed referenced the events of the OT.

I just rewatched that trailer and you guys are totally right. I made connections that aren't explicit.
