I know the last clip is short, but that's the one I am loving the most.

Everyone keeps referencing the Infallible situation but for me this is more like what happened with Backspacer. There were clips of every song on itunes (or amazon? can't exactly remember) before the album came out. I listened to those multiple times and my brain filled in the rest of what the song was going to sound like. Then the album came out and sounded nothing like what I created in my mind and I couldn't get past that. I don't think I was ever gonna love backspacer anyway, but this didn't help.

first and last clips have me most psyched.

I think we're hearing the "fist pumping chorus" in clip 3.

Don't care for whatever the penultimate clip is. hopefully the rest of that track is better.

the slow, Pink Floyd vibe clip also has me interested.

just give us the record or give us a date. the silence is puzzling.

What if the hold up is them filming a video to drop with announcement?

Hopefully it won't be a "Let The Records Play" situation either... when I first heard that song I was like, damn...this is gritty, dirty, dive bar kinda rock...I loved it.... Then the chorus came and it sounded like a frikin Mentos commercial.

It's the one that seems toughest to form a ridiculous opinion about, but I kind of get lights-on-encore vibes from it. Something sort of triumphant in a sideways sort of way, like if Leash or Sonic Reducer were the penultimate song at a show.

I think they were Verizon previews we had to listen to on our phones...? In that sense, similar sound quality.

that sound quality was 100x better. This is most akin to the crowd recording of the Fixer when they were filming the video

I tried to convince myself that LTRP had some glam-blues charm a la T-Rex, and when I look at past me saying that my response is "yeah, performed by a different band and recorded by a different producer it could have"

can't help that creepin' feeling of impending doom.

im going to come back to the metal door clips b/c they will ultimately sound better than the real thing. I just know it.

I’ve stalked these boards since the fall of 2000. I have to assume the fun is winding down with this record (hoping not…).

Regardless - excited to hear the final output and see what these guys have left in them.
