I loved it. Thought it was pretty close to brilliant, but it's not the greatest show of all time ever.

Sopranos is great. I did a re-re-watch just a couple months ago, for the first time in a few years. Honestly, it fell in my estimation a little bit this time through. There are some straight-up amateur moments alongside the iconic moments.

Give some examples of amateur moments in Sopranos... I get that it's dated, but I haven't found a single major flaw, except when they CGI'd Tony's mother's head onto another actress. That was bad!

Full disclosure: I've never seen Mad Men.

Haha yeah CGI Livia was bad but I can't say I noticed the first time I watched it

CGI Livia is a crime, but there is also a whole bunch of weird and unnecessary dialogue dubbed in at random times, especially in the early seasons. I'll try to find a clip of what I'm thinking about. It was something I noticed a lot, I wish I had kept a list

This right here was the first one I remember really sticking in my craw.

"If you want my opinion, this can't be true."
That first line. Tony is just learning that Big Pussy might be a rat. I guess I get that whatever they originally had her say on set wasn't good, but why did they end up having her say this? She knows about Big Pussy being a rat? Tony is okay with that? The cop is telling his girlfriend about this? And it all especially doesn't make sense because at the end of the episode Tony has a conversation with her which doesn't address Big Pussy specifically at all.

"That's my money, Paulie"
Towards the end of the clip. Chris is sprinting in the opposite direction and yet sees when Paulie picks up the money? And is that how people speak while sprinting?

Maybe it's just because I've watched it four times, and it was a relatively low-budget production in the early days and I'm being too harsh
