In no way whatsoever do I condone what I see as toxic fans (harassment of those involved in the movies etc). However, I feel what he is talking about is something else. Something we can disagree with if we feel otherwise, both as it relates to the force, or SW being for kids.
I like it when a musical artist don’t want to explain a song, because it can mean something different to different people. It’s the same with Star Wars. It doesn’t have to be just something for kids, and you can dislike and be negative towards whatever you want in the Star Wars universe, as long as that doesn’t result in harassment (racism, misogynism, bullying).
Even what he said about the force is up for interpretation, whatever Lucas says. However, we can’t ignore the movies, so nine will be very important to answer that. We’ll see.

Did you see actual footage or read about that? I’ve seen that mentioned on other boards regarding leaks.
