So, apparently Trump has tweeted that the interruptions of Kaine upon Pence during last night's debate should never have been allowed? He really DOES live in his own reality doesn't he?

He's created a reality for himself and his supporters where every one else is a complete liar and crook and biased, thereby making anything he says the absolute truth. its really fascinating.

Beyond denial, Trump seems to genuinely believe himself to be incapable of being wrong. And he couples this with an almost childlike certainty that anything he says now somehow erases what he said before.

I know it's impossible for me to say this, but I feel like even if I were the most devoted Republican and hated Hillary with the zeal of a million suns I still couldn't ever even think of voting for Trump. There are a lot of people pulling off some amazing mental gymnastics to defend supporting Trump to themselves.

There is a sizeable chunk of Trump supporters whose lives wouldn't be greatly inconvenienced by Trump's proposed policies who are supporting him for the sheer lulz of it. "To rock the boat" or whatever they want to call it. From what I've read, this comprises roughly half of the "alt-right".

If you were sympathetic to ISIS and trying to spread fear and undermine the day-to-day business of the US, trying to break up the electoral process would be a great way to do it. Why not head over to your local polling place at 8:00AM when there's a long line right before people go to work? There's usually only one cop there (side note: I'd make a great terrorist).
Well, Al Qaeda did something similar in 2004, where it may have swung the government from a pro-Iraq War one to an anti one:

In the scenario you describe, it would likely paralyze ballot locations nationwide, as no one knows whether or not their location would be a target, whereas with the hurricane it would only be a regional paralysis.

I can sympathize. The fact is our government is hopelessly corrupt, the media is hopelessly incompetent and biased, and decades of policies from both the Left and Right have strangled the middle class.

Unfortunately in response to those realities, half the country went batshit insane and elected a cartoon character (and a Hollywood one at that) in a last ditch effort to help themselves.

That's the tragedy here.

Oh well. Four more years of status quo isn't the worst thing that could happen, though it's hard to fathom how things will improve anytime soon.

I mean, Hillary would have to completely self destruct, or have something really, really bad revealed about her. I'm guessing Trump knows that too, and is gonna go for broke on Monday. Should be fun!
You mean the little "path" thing they do? Yeah, it looks like Trump has to run an inside straight--Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Nevada, and Colorado. If he loses any one of those states, there's no way he'll have enough votes (unless something like Pennsylvania breaks for him in the next few weeks, but we're only 5 weeks out). Yeah, Monday is shaping up to be make-or-break for him: he needs to dominate a news cycle with something incredibly positive for 5-7 days for things to turn around.

I've had an incredible number of women tell me the last few days that they're voting for Trump because they don't think a woman should be President.
