The first one is puzzling. The second one is whatever.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

That was thankfully just one episode long but it fits in with the larger arc of Chris looking for ways to break into show business... and it gave us DEFILER! And more time with Hesh. I'm okay with it

I agree that it shows Christopher's irrational and desperate choices to try to break through. Love me some CleaverJorge wrote:That was thankfully just one episode long but it fits in with the larger arc of Chris looking for ways to break into show business... and it gave us DEFILER! I admit I've never seen The Sopranos. It's very possible that takes the #1 spot. But based on what I know about the show, I have a feeling it will underwhelm me. I want to be wrong about that, btw.Iholdthepain wrote:Ach(Sopranos)oooooo!durdencommatyler wrote:This is where I'm at, too.The Argonaut wrote:Mad Men is the best television show of all-time and I seriously doubt that anything will ever be better

I would berate you for this, but I've never seen Mad Men, so...durdencommatyler wrote:I admit I've never seen The Sopranos. It's very possible that takes the #1 spot. She’s never been one that’s turned my crank. And I really wish someone had taught her how to smoke a cigarette before she was on this show.VinylGuy wrote:So hotlennytheweedwhacker wrote:giving the americans a go...keri russell is so pretty

Not a fan of how Fargo season 1 wrapped up. In fact I'd say the whole stretch from the moment Key & Peele showed up felt a little weak compared to the rest of the season.
