im sure Ed and Watt handled the rhythm parts and Slash did more of the flourishing and solos. Sounded pretty good from those vids

He's 100% right, though.
It was the last tour they were legitimately and consistently great, no caveats or allowances needed.
That's not to say they haven't played great shows since, but they're less consistent (even from song to song) and the intensity and energy isn't quite the same.
