You’d probably be average at it anyway.

I just always enjoy playing with the dollar amounts.

Auction league, 10 teams, half PPR, $200 cap

I ended up paying $50 each for Justin Jefferson, Josh Allen, and Christian McCaffrey. Then obviously the rest of my squad isn’t great. I guess we’ll see what happens.

I feel like auction is a bit much for me. Good luck, Spike.

We had to have our draft early because of people's schedules, so here's who I've got this year (spoiler incase you don't care and therefore would prefer to scroll pass this post more easily in the future).
Spoiler: show
It's a keeper league, where anyone picked in the first 5 rounds last year are ineligible to be kept this year. Kept players carry a 3-round cost from where they were kept/drafted last year. I kept Dotson for an 8th and Ridley for a 9th (udfa are always a 9th).

There were a surprising number of QBs kept.
I had the 8th overall pick.

QB1 - Richardson
RB1 - Barkley
RB2 - Jacobs
WR1 - Ridley
WR2 - D. Johnson
TE - Waller
RB/WR/TE - Gibbs
WR/TE - Dotson
DST - Washington

B- E. Moore
B- M. Brown
B- J. Ross
B- J. Warren
B- Gainwell
B- Achane
IR- K. Murray

I took Murray with my last pick knowing I could stash him and grab a D on waivers.

I promise I won't bum out every thread... BUT... no one has reached out to me (the commissioner) about re-upping our League of Record this year. So I think we're taking a year off.

However, my secondary league, the one I've been in the longest, was started by my friend who passed away earlier this week. I thought we weren't going to continue on without him. But there's been a huge sentiment from the league that Nathan would want us to keep going. We also do a Zoom draft. So it's a way for all of us to connect with each other and celebrate/remember our friend.

Anyway, we draft tomorrow. And I think I'm gonna cry every time the system auto-drafts for Nate's team...

That's tough, Joey.

Sorry for your loss and good luck with "the feels" tomorrow.

This. I do know I have the first pick tho.

The league I’m in wanted to just all of a sudden institute a keeper league a couple of weeks ago. You could only keep one player you had from last year and it had to be someone you drafted. That would be your first round pick this year. The only player I even had left from my draft at the end of last season was my kicker. I voted a resounding no on that one.
