Rocksteady Reveals “Superman” Game Next Week?

Ever since they wrapped up the highly acclaimed ‘Arkham’ video game series with “Batman: Arkham Knight” in 2015, many have been wondering what Rocksteady Studios has been working on since.

There have been rumors that the company was looking into doing for the “Superman” franchise what ‘Arkham’ did for the “Batman” franchise, offering a massive scale AAA title set in the DC universe and a gameplay and tone that feels very true to the comic.

Well the flames of those rumors have been fanned this week as a 4chan posting indicates that Game Informer magazine is preparing to announce the game and feature it as the cover story of their December issue:

“Game Informer cover game will be revealed next week. It will be Rocksteady’s Superman game. The scale and the ambition of the game is massive, you all will be blown away by the details. Can’t wait to see your reaction, lads.”

How true this is remains unclear. What is known for sure is that Rocksteady has been working on something for well over a year now, a title they’re keen to reveal to the world even though the game won’t be ready for a while yet.

As long as Zack Snyder isn't a producer on it it might be good.

Also no flying though hoops!

Playing Mario Galaxy for the first time and I'm not liking this mechanic at all. The first boss - a pirahna plant! - killed me 10 times in a row. It's a good thing there was a 1up right there or I would have had it.

What mechanic, the planets/gravity? It's not for everyone, but it SO good.

The planets, I guess. I just want to be pushing forward and move that direction but every time the plane changes forward is now thataway instead.

Enjoying the COD: WWII campaign so far. MP feels a bit lackluster without the freeing verticality of recent CODs, though.

Well, I think I hate Super Metroid. The wall jump is such a shitty mechanic. The dots on the map that indicate an item don't disappear when you get them. It's a confusing, samey labyrinth. And the bosses are not about strategy, just quantity of missiles blasted in their face. Apparently I don't have enough for Ridley. I don't get the love for this one.

Did you play Battlefield 1? If so, how do they compare?

I hated the wall jump. It made me abandon a playthrough once.

You're taking about that special wall jump? Yeah, it sucks. Definitely the worst part of the game. That being said, it is pretty easy to pull off once you get the rhythm of it.

So, I've come into possession of my niece and nephews Wii U. What are the best games that can be played just on the gamepad?

Right now all I have is New Super Mario Brothers U. I'd like to try out some of the classic Nintendo 3D Platformers.

Mario Maker and Super Mario 3D World are both great games and can be played entirely on the Gamepad.

I played BF1 for like five minutes and quit. I do not like that series.

I just finished WWII and thought it was stellar by the end. This series is seriously branching out dramatically. I may have cried a little.

My friends who play both say WW2 is mostly a run-n-gun fest like BF1's Rush mode. BF1 is much larger in map size and more detailed in its mechanics.

I'm not talking about the MP, which is pretty lackluster.

Also BF1 has vehicles, and vehicle class soldiers.
