Yeah, it really is. Especially when there is a "emergency" or something that can be fixed easily.
My limit is 5 steps and/or 2 tools.

If there's a tool I'm not familiar with, then it looks like it's fu :censored: ck that shit o'clock. :haha:

I've fixed so many doors by shoving toothpicks in the jambi screwholes, it's not even funny.

We're redoing our kitchen. Not a single thing we've purchased has arrived within the window specified by the seller.

Fuck Lowes. Fuck Home Depot. Fuck the people who make the cabinets. Fuck the people who make the countertop. Fuck LG and Samsung and Fridgidaire. God damn it!
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Remodeling a kitchen sounds like a nightmare. Glad it's working out for you!

It's actually not going as badly as I make it sound, but I AM in my 3rd week without countertops in my kitchen. And Lowe's has just delivered my third dented refrigerator.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Not avoiding threads per se, just trying to skip threads that don't have an impact on my real life.

This isn't so much 'home improvement' as it is 'home maintenance'.
