Where is this information coming from?
My wife and a coworker need something from their school. When discussing who would get it her coworker wouldn't go b/c she's black and black people are not supposed to be out and about tomorrow or Wednesday.

BLA.
Lol@BLA

But seriously, B could be falling victim to some targeted misinformation here. Don't be a pawn, B.

Did your wife tell her co worker to suck it up and vote?

Vote in-person on Election Day during a pandemic in a state with no-cause absentee voting and ballottrax?

Yeah. I mean, she'll probably go grocery shopping this week. No excuses.

If she won't drive to a locked school building to pick up work papers and return home with them, I think it's a safe bet she has enough groceries to make it Thursday.

I'm very concerned to hear that black people are being told to stay at home on election day in your community, B. Who is doing the telling?

It's just the report of one person. Verb is right. It could be blown out of proportion. I'm only assume it's black people talking to black people, but Trump sent 5 "Biden hates black people" flyers to my house, so who knows.

Dunno dude... leaving a woman alone at a closed gas station seems wrong (I understand that double standard). She was certainly abusive but she was smart to wait in the car until another ride was there

"She wrote that it was “totally inappropriate to expect a woman to get out of a vehicle in the dead of night."

It's also totally inappropriate to expect a stranger to ride with the windows up in a COVID pandemic.

It's also totally inappropriate to post this in the BLM thread.

It’s a hilarious story and this person (the passenger, not the driver) totally sucks and I laughed my ass off hearing about the story yesterday. She should be fired immediately.

But B is right. This is the wrong thread.

I take thread integrity very seriously and thought long and hard about it, but I'm still not sure where it should go.

Someone in our neighborhood has complained about all the BLM signs b/c the violate the homeowners' association covenants. It's unclear what the HOA can do about it, but I read the covenants, and there is no rule against flags, so ...
