this turned out pretty well, he got me 30 in that league and moved me to 84 points out of 3rd, so i hope for another pretty good week next week to keep getting closer, i want my money back

4 leagues is way too many to be in.
I'm going back to just 1 next year.

4 is my usual number, I've done more but 4 works for me and usually satisfies my urge for drafting, and all 4 are with friends or family and that helps keep my interest

He's Detroit's #2 receiver. Hopefully you'll know him well after this week

go with keenum, whoever asked on last page. foles has been a godsend in my two-qb league, though i just traded him for flacco and zac stacey because i also have stafford and brees. i really lucked out that stafford had a bye the week foles destroyed the raiders.

i just like the way keenum launches the ball downfield, so i'm biased.

I wouldn't. Burleson will be back and that's going to be a huge hit to an already underwhelming player.

I'm in a keeper league, just picked up Julio Jones and Arian Foster off waivers for free. So they'll cost me $5 each next year if I want them. I'm not sure about Foster, but it's worth the wasted roster spot to have the option. Julio, on the other hand, is gonna be a steal.

absolutely, how the hell do you drop someone like Julio in a keeper league

I mean I guess he felt like he needed the roster spot, and he probably wouldn't keep him because you have to pay $5 more for the player the second year, $10 more the third, etc, so maybe coming off an injury you wouldn't want to pay the increased price, which would be over $50. So I get that, but man he just gave me tremendous value. It pretty much guarantees that I can drop Megatron again next year (I've had him every year, but don't keep him and end up re-drafting him and paying less than I would if I added the $5) and still be able to afford him even at a high price again.

ive never actually done a keeper league so i dont know all the ins and outs of it, but i guess that does make sense for him, and if you can have a hopefully healthy Julio and still get Megatron then you will be ridiculous at WR

No. I don't know if that's common in keepers or not, but we don't have a provision for that. We start 9 players a week and have 14 roster spots. So my bench is down to 3 guys who are still among the living, but this is the last week of byes so I went for it.

I think he should have done his best to keep him just so nobody could do what I did and start next year with an advantage. If Jones was still on his roster at the end of the season and he didn't designate him as a keeper then everybody would have to bid on him like any other player.

We still hold the player's keeper value to his draft position regardless if he was dropped or not for this very reason.
