There's actual a lot of down time here at the dealership, despite my many adventures. Kind of like an airport in that way.

An airport where you get to drive the plane home after they're finished.

Reid, your job should be taking people’s cars to dealerships for them. Calculate a reasonable hourly rate, and they have to cover your Arby’s bill.

I got my start doing something similar, actually. the first Monday of summer after graduating high school, my dad woke me up and announced that he got me a job at his friend's auto shop. I was a porter. Basically the bitch who changed the oil, changed the wheels, pulled the cars out every morning and in every night. Part of the job was shuttling customers back to work if they needed it after drop off. There was this one super grouchy old man who came in at least once a month. I remember we'd always pass a yard full of goats on the way to his house and he's cuss at the goats every single time. He hated them so much and I never understood why.

Now the joy of the visit is wearing off a bit. I'm ready to leave, get our kid from daycare, get home, and get a shower. I forgot to mention that I went for a run before this, so the aromatic quality of the air immediately around me has been declining rapidly.

washing machine wrote:Oh, I almost forgot. At Arby's, I made a great connection with the cashier. After noticing Mello Yello on the fountain, I figured I'd ask him what he thought about it. I'd never had it before and I trusted his opinion. He did not disappoint. "Well it's kinda like Mountain Dew, but if you also put some Sprite in it. It's real yellow too."

You bet your ass I rang the bell for good service (Arby's actually has one of these) on my way out the door.
What in the hell

Sorry dude. My 6monther had a check up yesterday and turns out he's gonna have to have a testicle surgically lowered; still stuck up in there. We were hoping it was going to drop on its own.
