Supposedly they can't be exchanged/transferred and can only be re-sold at face value. But we'll see how it plays out.

It somewhat surprises me that there would be a secondary market market for mediocre tickets that would make profits over the $175 initial price. So on one hand, it sucks PJ has raised their prices so much, but on the other hand if lots of people are willing to pay $200+ for mediocre seats they are not actually gouging us as much as it seems.

I wasn’t gonna buy tickets, but I got a text that I was off the waitlist so I logged in and then it said no tickets available lol

I logged on to the Pit to see if people were complaining about prices over there. They were, but it goes something like this:

"THESE TICKET PRICES ARE INSANE, EFF YOU PEARL JAM !!! I just paid $2800 for upper level tickets!"

So, they are bad, but not bad enough to not pay it, lol (by the way, I'm the same level of angry. I still bought tickets)

tickets keep popping up. it looked like they opened up sections behind the stage as the sale went on for philly. also the scalpers are fucking killing us.

I didn't realize this was the case either until i logged in and tried joining the waiting room where I was denied entry for lack of an access code.

I can kind of, almost, understand why someone who had have the means and desperation would pay ridiculous prices like that just to get in to a concert. But I cannot fathom the fear that would lead someone to do it like 6 months or whatever in advance. As if the opportunity to give someone a giant profit on a garbage seat will disappear after today.

But it's easy for me to say that from my privileged position.
